Joey Molland, a guitarist with the Welsh pop-rock band Badfinger that was known for 1970s hits like No Matter What and Day After Day, has died aged 77.

Molland was the last to join and had been the last survivor from the most famous line-up of the group, which recorded with the Beatles’ Apple label.
