Chagos Islands should be sold to the US not ‘corrupt Mauritius’ – Farage

Nigel Farage told the Commons he would rather hand over sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to the US, as opposed to “corrupt Mauritius”.

The Reform UK leader also listed colonial-guilt as one of the reasons the agreement to cede the British Indian Ocean Territory to Mauritius is being sought.
