At least 19 dead as Sudan military plane crashes

Sudanese soldiers from the Rapid Support Forces unit, led by Gen.

A Sudanese military aircraft has crashed in the city of Omdurman, killing at least 19 people, officials said.

The Antonov aircraft crashed on Tuesday while taking off from the Wadi Sayidna airbase north of Omdurman, the military said. Omdurman is the sister city of the capital, Khartoum.
