Jurors began deliberating in the trial of a New Jersey man charged with stabbing and trying to kill Salman Rushdie on a New York lecture stage.

The jury got the case after lawyers delivered closing arguments to wrap up seven days of testimony in Chautauqua County Court on Friday.
