Modi meets Trump in visit aimed at boosting US-India relationship

President Donald Trump has met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has heaped praise on him in the hope of avoiding the additional tariffs that the new administration has slapped on other countries.

The pair greeted each with a hug in the lobby of the West Wing before meeting on Thursday afternoon in the Oval Office.
