Next ad banned for featuring ‘unhealthily thin’ model

A single viewer complained that the ad was irresponsible.

An advert for high street giant Next has been banned in Britain for featuring a model who appeared to be “unhealthily thin”.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the “irresponsible” ad used the camera angle and styling as well as the model’s pose to emphasise the slimness of her legs.
