South Korea’s impeached leader defends martial law bid during public appearance

South Korea’s impeached president has denied he ordered the military to drag MPs out of the National Assembly to stop them from voting to reject his martial law decree last month.

Yoon Suk Yeol made the denial as he appeared for the first time before the Constitutional Court that will determine his fate.
