Two lynx on the loose in Scottish Highlands in suspected ‘illegal release’

The CNPA says it is working alongside Police Scotland to establish what has happened, and assured the public that the large cats are of “low risk” to the general public due to their shy nature

Two lynx are on the loose in the Scottish Highlands in what is suspected to be an “illegal release”.

On Wednesday evening, the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) announced that the animals were at large within its grounds.
