Harris hails ‘good day’ for democracy as she oversees election certification

Kamala Harris has overseen a calm ceremonial certification of her defeat to Donald Trump in the US presidential election.
The vice president kept her remarks perfunctory and stood with her hands clasped in front while the results from each state were read out in the US Capitol.
