Birmingham airport resumes operations following reports of 'suspicious vehicle'

Earlier today, passengers were advised not to attend Birmingham Airport due to a police incident

Birmingham Airport has resumed operations after police were called to reports of a ā€œsuspicious vehicleā€ earlier on Wednesday.

Following a search by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, the vehicle was deemed safe, West Midlands Police said.
