Birmingham airport resumes operations following reports of 'suspicious vehicle'

Passengers are being advised to check their latest flight information before arriving at the airport

Earlier today, passengers were advised not to attend Birmingham Airport due to a police incident

Birmingham Airport has resumed operations after police were called to reports of a “suspicious vehicle” earlier on Wednesday.

Following a search by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, the vehicle was deemed safe, West Midlands Police said.
