US intelligence agent accuses Russia of viral smear campaign against Tim Walz

Groups in Russia have created and have spread viral disinformation targeting Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz in the lead-up to the US election, a senior US intelligence official has stated.

The viral social media clip features baseless accusations levied against Mr Walz harking back nearly two decades to when he was a school teacher.
