Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville leads tributes to ‘legend’ Maggie Smith

Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville has hailed Maggie Smith as a “true legend of her generation”.

It was announced on Friday that Smith, a multi-award-winning actor whose work ranged from The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie to Harry Potter, died aged 89.
