Thai same-sex couples to tie knot in 2025 as marriage equality bill becomes law

Thailand’s landmark marriage equality bill has been officially written into law, allowing same-sex couples in the country to legally wed.

The law was published in the Royal Gazette after endorsement by King Maha Vajiralongkorn, and will come into effect in 120 days.
