Russia fires more missiles at Ukraine ahead of diplomatic effort to stop the war

Russian forces have fired missiles and launched drones at the Kyiv region and five other areas of Ukraine in a night-time attack, officials said.

The assault comes ahead of several days of intense diplomatic activity around the war, now in its third year.
