UN appeals for €2.6bn to help three million Palestinians in need of aid

The United Nations appealed for $2.8bn (€2.6bn) on Tuesday to provide desperately needed aid to three million Palestinians.

The UN stressed that tackling looming famine in Gaza requires not only food but sanitation, water and health facilities.
