Russian shells kills 11 in Donetsk while Ukraine claims it hit Crimean air base

Eleven people have been killed by Russian shelling in Ukraine’s partially occupied Donetsk province, officials said.

Regional governor Vadym Filashkin said five children were among the dead and eight further people were wounded in the attack on the Pokrovsk district.
