British Museum theft: £750,000 Cartier ring and other items previously stolen

A 12cm marble head and a Cartier ring worth £750,000 (€875,000) are among the items that have previously gone missing from the British Museum.

The institution and the Metropolitan Police announced on Wednesday that they are investigating after a number of artefacts were stolen from the museum’s collection.
