IS says it was behind ambush that killed dozens of Syrian soldiers

The so-called Islamic State group (IS) has claimed responsibility for an ambush in eastern Syria that killed at least 33 government soldiers and wounded others, and warned that such attacks will continue.

The attack is among the deadliest to be carried out this year by the extremists.
