At least two dead after police in Kenya open fire on protesters

At least two people are dead and 26 others injured after police in Kenya opened fire on demonstrators protesting against the rising cost of living.

The country’s political opposition had called for three days of nationwide protests aimed at forcing the president to repeal a finance law imposing new taxes.
