A Palestinian man has driven a car into pedestrians in Tel Aviv, hurting at least four people, in an attack praised by the Islamist militant group Hamas as a response to Israel’s ongoing military operation in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli paramedics said at least four people were wounded when a car hit pedestrians on a pavement in the seaside city on Tuesday.
