A £1.3m (€1.5m) south London townhouse owned by British prime minister Boris Johnson was hit by a car in the early hours.

A black Vauxhall Astra crashed into the Camberwell property’s front garden at about 1am on Monday, which neighbours described as sounding like “thunder”.
