Man handed life sentence for attacking girlfriend and killing her unborn baby

A man has been handed a life sentence for attacking his girlfriend and killing her unborn child.

Asa Davison, 35, was told he would serve a minimum of 12 years behind bars before being considered for parole because of his “violent” and “manipulative” personality, which meant he posed a danger to the public, particularly to future partners.
