New study identified secondary breast cancer risk (PA)

Women diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age appear to have a higher risk of their breast cancer spreading to other parts of the body, according to a new study.

Those who were diagnosed before the age of 35 appear to have a higher risk of their breast cancer coming back and spreading to other parts of the body – also known as secondary or metastatic breast cancer.
