US police under fire after dislocating shoulder of elderly woman with dementia
A US police officer has been accused of dislocating the shoulder of a 73-year-old woman with dementia while arresting her, and later appearing to revel in the incident.
Officer Austin Hopp, of Loveland Police Department in Colorado, told fellow officers “ready for the pop?” as he showed them his body camera footage, according to police station surveillance video with enhanced audio which was made public by the woman’s lawyer.
