The former president of the European Commission has said he ā€œmade a mistakeā€ in listening to David Cameron after being told not to interfere with the Brexit debate in the UK.

Jean-Claude Juncker said he ā€œshould not have listenedā€ to the former UK prime minister and ā€œspoken outā€ on the issue.
