The UK's approval of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine has been hailed as a “game-changer” and a “triumphant moment” in the battle against coronavirus.

One of the key people behind the new jab said it will provide some respite in the “blizzard” of the pandemic, and hope for the future.
