EU offer remains ‘unacceptable’ as negotiators prepare for all-night talks

The terms offered by the European Union on a trade deal continue to be “unacceptable” to the UK, according to a British government source – with time running out to strike an agreement.
Talks between chief negotiators David Frost and Michel Barnier are expected to last late into the night in Brussels as officials stressed there had been no breakthrough in the latest discussions that started just before midday on Saturday.
