Biden and Trump await results of Georgia recount

The results of a hand count of the Georgia election results are set to be announced with expectations they will confirm Democrat Joe Biden’s narrow lead over Republican President Donald Trump.

The hand tally of about five million votes stemmed from an audit required by a new state law and was not in response to any suspected problems with the state’s results or an official recount request.
