Michel Platini quizzed in Swiss investigation into £1.5m payment from Fifa

Michel Platini has been questioned at Switzerland’s federal prosecution office about a 2 million dollar (£1.5 million) payment he received from Fifa in 2011.

The payment led to his removal as president of European football’s governing body Uefa – and as a candidate to lead Fifa – when Swiss federal investigators revealed the allegation five years ago.
