New Covid-19 restrictions causing confusion, local leaders in UK say

The UK's Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) on Friday told people in Oldham in Greater Manchester, as well as Pendle and Blackburn in Lancashire, not to socialise with anyone outside their household from midnight on Saturday.

The introduction of further coronavirus restrictions in parts of the North West of England have caused “confusion” and more clarity is needed, local leaders have said.
