At least 23 dead and 100 injured after Typhoon Hagibis devastates Japan

Helicopters, boats and thousands of troops were deployed across Japan to rescue people stranded in flooded homes as the death toll from a ferocious typhoon climbed to at least 23 with more than a dozen missing.

Local media says about 100 people have been injured.
