Man arrested over deaths of Scottish mother and toddler who disappeared in 1976

A man in Scotland has been charged in connection with the deaths of a woman and her three-year-old son who disappeared more than 40 years ago.

Police Scotland said a 77-year-old man was arrested in the north of England on Wednesday morning and charged in relation to the deaths of Renee MacRae and her son Andrew.
