Chris Brown in custody in Paris over rape allegation, French police say

US singer Chris Brown has been detained in Paris after a rape accusation, according to French police.

Update - 5.20pm: Singer Chris Brown and two other people are in custody in Paris after a woman filed a rape complaint, French officials have said.

The Grammy-winning singer was detained yesterday on potential charges of aggravated rape and drug infractions and remained in custody, a judicial official said today.
