Banker 'texted partner after high-class escort was bludgeoned to death,' murder trial hears

A City banker in England texted his partner to say "It's too late, I'm sorry, life isn't going to work for me" in the hours after he allegedly bludgeoned a high-class escort to death on her 29th birthday, a court there has heard.

Helen Jervis asked her partner of 12 years, Zahid Naseem, "What have you done?" when she received the message on May 25, Lewes Crown Court heard today.
