Catholic nuns admit stealing nearly €500k from California church

Two Catholic nuns have admitted embezzling about half a million dollars from a school in California.

The best friends took the money from tuition fees and donations and used it for travel and gambling in Las Vegas.

Church leaders believe they operated their scheme for at least a decade, but don't intend to press charges.
