Polish politicians see salaries cut and bonuses handed to charity

Public outcry has led to a promise that politicians salaries will be reduced and bonuses recently paid to ministers given to charity in Poland.

The head of Poland's ruling party Jaroslaw Kaczynski announced the measures after an opinion poll showed a 12-point drop in support for his right-wing Law and Justice party.
