British police officer sacked for biting woman's nose

A British police officer has been sacked for biting a woman's nose leaving her victim with permanent scarring.

Pc Rebecca Barnett was dismissed from Thames Valley Police following a disciplinary hearing which found that her off-duty actions amounted to gross misconduct.
