An "intentional" attack could be the reason an apartment building collapsed in western Poland, leaving five people dead and 21 injured, a prosecutors' spokeswoman has said.

The building with 18 apartments collapsed early on Sunday in the western city of Poznan, most probably as a result of an explosion, authorities said.
