Philippine president offers bounty to government forces for the killing of communist rebels to cut war costs

The Philippine president has offered a 25,000 peso (€384) bounty for each communist rebel killed by government forces to save on anti-insurgency costs.

Rodrigo Duterte also said insurgents are easier to hit than birds because they have bigger heads.
