South Africa's deputy president has said he anticipates a "speedy resolution" to his talks with President Jacob Zuma about a power transition.
Cyril Ramaphosa, who is expected to replace the scandal-tainted Mr Zuma, acknowledged "a lot of speculation and anxiety" about the status of the president, and said South Africa is undergoing a challenging time.
