Series of earthquakes have struck Taiwan

A series of earthquakes have struck the island of Taiwan.

The USGS says three earthquakes hit the island - two measuring 5.3, and one measuring 6.1.

All the tremors were north east of the city of Hualian.

There are currently no reports of damage or injuries.
