Driver of car swept downhill by California mudslide describes terror of 'wall of water and mud'

A driver who rode a wave of muddy water down a twisting street in his car during a Southern California flood said he is lucky to be alive.

“I just got pushed down the side of a hill by a wall of water and mud,” Desionne Franklin said Thursday in an Instagram video two days after the terrifying ride.
