Latest: Eight Americans, two Swedes and one Canadian were among 12 people killed in a bus crash in eastern Mexico, authorities said.

Update 5.50pm: Eight Americans, two Swedes and one Canadian were among 12 people killed in a bus crash in eastern Mexico, authorities said.

A Mexican tour guide also died after the accident involving a bus carrying tourists to Mayan ruins on a narrow road in Quintana Roo state.
