Whatsapp warning of 'malicious software' that can hack your phone a hoax

Many users of WhatsApp have received a message over the last number of days, warning of a malicious piece of software that can hack your phone in 10 seconds.

It was identified as a hoax earlier this year by the Spanish police as they found no viable threat from these messages.
