Tropical bird blown by hurricane Jose all the way to Cape Cod has died

A tropical bird believed to be the first of its type seen in a northern US state has died after it was blown off course by Hurricane Jose.

Wild Care Cape Cod, a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Eastham, said that the masked booby died overnight.
