Mother sentenced to a minimum of 16 years after murdering two-year-old daughter

A young mother who made a "sham" 999 call several hours after murdering her two-year-old daughter has been ordered to serve at least 16 years in jail.

Cody-Anne Jackson suffocated Macey Hogan in a "wicked and appalling" act after sending a photo to the child's father with a message reading: "Savour the last ever picture... Possibly see you in court."
