'Islamic State' destory historic mosque and 'leaning' minaret

The so-called 'Islamic State' group have destroyed Mosul's 12th century al-Nuri Mosque and its leaning minaret known as al-Hadba.

Fighters detonated explosives inside the structures last night, Iraq's Ministry of Defence said.
