One dead, six injured after shooting at San Diego pool party

Officers shot and killed a 49-year-old man suspected of shooting seven people at an apartment complex near the University of California, San Diego, police said.

Police have shot and killed a 49-year-old man suspected of shooting seven people at a birthday pool party in an apartment complex near the University of California, San Diego, authorities said.

One of the victims, a woman, later died in hospital.
