Three earthquakes hit central Italy

Two large earthquakes have hit in the area of central Italy that has seen a series of tremors recently, according to officials.

There have been three earthquakes in central Italy this morning, with the strongest measuring 5.7 in magnitude.

One had an epicentre around 60 miles from Rome.
