Seven killed by suicide bomber in Syria

A suicide bomber has killed at least seven people in the Syrian capital Damascus.

State TV says the attacker blew himself up in the Kafr Sousa neighbourhood where several government buildings are based.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights - which tracks violence in the country - says the death toll is likely to rise as several of the wounded are critical.
